Health Insurance Options from Fallon Community Health
Fallon offers a wide range of coverage
options to individuals and families. They offer HMO (health management organization), PPO (preferred provider
network) and traditional indemnity plans. Each of these
plans offers comprehensive coverage in different ways.
Their HMO plans pair you with a primary care physician
to coordinate your care and refer you to specialists
should the need arise. Their PPO network extends outside
of the state and lets you see participating doctors
nation-wide without referral. Their traditional indemnity
plan covers you not matter where you go, up to 80%.
Here are some details of a few of the plans Fallon offers
for individuals and families:
* FCHP Direct Care -
This plan is an HMO meant to bring comprehensive care
at an affordable cost. In addition to major medical
coverage for everything from regular visits to surgery,
FCHP Direct offers discounts on laser eye surgery, and
winter sports activities. For regular doctor visits
and gynecological visits, there are no copays.
* Fallon Preferred Care
- This comprehensive plan lets you take advantage of
a nation-wide network of over 380,000 physicians. Services
received in-network do not require referrals, however
some services may require pre-certification. Benefits
are similar to Fallon's HMO plans.
* Major Medical - This
is a traditional indemnity plan for customers living
outside their network area, or for those who want the
freedom to see any doctor. Coverage is 80% of cost after
deductible. Benefits include regular doctor visits,
hospitalization, diagnostics and prescription drug benefits.
